At times, you may run into challenges when making a deposit. In most cases these issues can easily be resolved.
General Troubleshooting:
This one may be obvious, but be sure to check that all the information you’ve provided has been entered correctly. Let’s take a closer look, specific to some of the options we offer:
Quite simply, credit, debit or gift card deposits ARE NOT 100% GUARANTEED. This may be due to restrictions placed on the card itself and are not imposed by Joe Fortune.
If one of your initial deposits has failed, you can always try again or, if you have one in your possession, attempt with another of our accepted cards.
International purchases: Be sure that the gift card you use is approved for ONLINE, INTERNATIONAL PURCHASES. This will be indicated on the card itself. Joe Fortune is an international company; cards that state ‘Domestic use only’ will not work.
Minimum deposit + card fees: Gift cards have an activation fee and may be subject to additional fees applied by the card issuer. The amount of the card you purchase must be enough to cover these fees, plus our minimum deposit amount of $20.00. We recommend a card of no less than $25.00 to be safe.
Activation timeframe: In some cases, Gift Cards can take up to an hour to be activated. Be sure to keep this in mind when purchasing your card and making your attempt on site.
NOTE: Gift Cards are also not 100% guaranteed and may be subject to similar restrictions applied by the issuer.
Depositing with cryptocurrency is our fastest and most reliable option, however you may run into issues if entering information manually, either in your wallet, or on our website.
Verify information: As with all deposit methods, it is crucial that you review all your information every step of the way to ensure that your details are accurate before proceeding.
Different currencies: Always double check the cryptocurrency you are sending before making the transfer as they are NOT interchangeable (Ex. Bitcoin and Bitcoin Cash are not the same currency). Sending one type of cryptocurrency to a different cryptocurrency's address will result in a loss of funds.
